Thursday, Oct. 6 at 11:30 a.m.- Think “homeland security” is just for military installations or energy companies? Think again. Then think about how your church, school, or medical center might respond to a major disaster. Presenter Cathi Marx, a US Coast Guard veteran, will share lessons learned in this unique presentation about ways community organizations banded together to plan for disaster response and recovery.
