Resultant workplace changes attributed, in part, to sustainability include telecommuting employees and LEED Certified buildings. These industry trends create great opportunities to position ergonomics as part of the “people” piece in sustainability.

Susan Mazzarella,LEED AP, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor, Regional Sales Manager and Principal Consultant at EORM, has more than 15 years’ experience planning and assessing sustainable buildings, auditing and managing compliance, implementing EHS management systems, and developing sustainability strategies. She is a UC Riverside Alumnus, and worked as an environmental scientist at ERM prior to her career with EORM.
