Lisa Gordon, Small Business Ambassador, City of San Diego, is a dynamic, award-wining professional with more than 15 years’ experience in government, international and community relations. As the City’s Small Business Ambassador, she is responsible for advocating for small business owners through targeted outreach and special initiatives. She helps people connect the dots on programs to support the development of businesses throughout the region, assists with referrals to business and technical assistance organizations, and creates heightened awareness for contracting opportunities with the City. Lisa previously served Mayor Sanders as Director of Protocol, Appointments and Community Outreach, where she worked extensively with embassies, consulates, military and government officials.
